For violin, I often use the Suzuki Method books in addition to scale books and traditional etude books.

For piano, I use Faber Piano Adventure series or Alfred’s Adult All-In-One Course series.  For transfer students, I use whatever materials they have and then transition to Faber or Alfred.

Violin: I have a master’s degree in violin performance and pedagogy, and I am Suzuki certified up through Violin Book 4. 

Piano: My piano background focused on church music, classical repertoire, and composition.
